Vision Statement
At Shepherd’s Gate Fellowship, it is our vision to be individually surrendered to His Lordship, wholly committed to the outward expression of His Gospel, and dedicated to equipping and becoming a community of church planters.
This can be condensed into: Being His Sheep, Feeding His Sheep, Becoming His Shepherds
(Confused about "being" sheep? Jesus described people as sheep, and he said that he was the "Good Shepherd" who would watch out for them. The 23rd Psalm starts out "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not (be in) want. He makes me lie down in green pastures and leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul."

Mission Strategy (how we function)
The people of SGF are encouraged to embrace a lifestyle of intentional relationships, fasting, praying, study, and worship. We make a practice of feeding the poor, visiting the sick and imprisoned, and caring for widows and the dispossessed. The people of SGF tell others the good news of Jesus Christ, demonstrating His modern miracles and sharing the goodness of salvation by faith.
As an organization, we encourage the multiplication of Home Churches within SGF and work toward the planting of new, viable, independent churches. A key to planting new groups is the raising up of intern leaders, and we place high emphasis on the training of these future leaders and pastors.
